Dr. Navidi is an executive coach and Clinical Psychologist who supports IOCI’s DC Metro-based clients. He has spent years reviewing the literature regarding procrastination and productivity. Based on this research, he has taken the most powerful tools and techniques and synthesized them into a system that gets results. Specifically, he helps clients identify the nature of their procrastination and develops a customized intervention to create new productivity habits. At the same time, he helps clients to establish new mind sets so they can maintain those good habits. Dr. Navidi has also created an effective model for strengthening mental resilience which is so important to the challenging times our leader clients are facing.
As an executive coach, Dr. Navidi uses his extensive business, hostage negotiation and coaching experience to connect with clients on a deeper level and understand their challenges. He often works with individuals and teams to help them face common leadership issues and to enhance their interpersonal effectiveness, employee performance management and ability to manage conflict.
He provides executive coaching and training on a variety of topics for both private sector and government clients on topics including listening skills, work-life balance, productivity and conflict management.
Recently, Dr. Navidi has worked with clients in the health care industry, particularly clients in the Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health, who are dealing with organizational and role transitions, helping them to understand how to forge new relationships influence and lead in new ways. He has helped these leaders confront new realities, build new leader capabilities and realign their perspectives with the new role.
